Saison North will be a mixed-income housing community in North Austin’s Gateway neighborhood located at the site of the former NXNW Brewery. This development will pay homage to the former brewery through the reuse of building materials and in its design. Saison North will provide 116 units of high quality affordable and market rate housing to support a variety of income levels in this fast-growing area.
Affordability breakdown: 70% of Saison North’s units will be affordable at 30%, 50%, and 60% of area median income. 30% of the units will be available at market rate.
Units will feature high-efficiency appliances and lighting, solid surface counters and flooring, and will be National Green Building Certified.
Community amenities will include a fully furnished clubhouse with community room, swimming pool, business center, leasing center, fitness center, and bicycle parking.
Financial partners include TDHCA, City of Austin, Travis County Housing Finance Corporation, Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC), and Hunt Capitol Partners.
