Kiva East will be a mixed-income housing community in East Dallas with direct access to the Sante Fe Trail.  Kiva East will provide 87 units of high quality affordable and market rate housing to support a variety of income levels in this fast-growing area. Through a partnership with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, and the use of 9% Housing Tax Credit financing, this project is able to offer 70% of its units at rents affordable to households making between 30% and 60% of area median income.

Affordability breakdown: 70% of Kiva East’s units will be affordable at 30%, 50%, and 60% of area median income. 30% of the units will be available at market rate rents.

Units will feature high-efficiency appliances and lighting, solid surface counters and flooring, and will be cable, internet, and phone ready.

Community amenities will include a fully furnished clubhouse with community room, swimming pool, business center, leasing center, fitness center, and bicycle parking.
