Kestrel on Cooper is a mixed-income community in central Arlington, providing 90 units of high quality housing. The community provides much-needed affordable housing options for households at a variety of income levels. Working closely with the City of Arlington, and the Heart of Arlington Neighborhood Association, this project incorporates the community in every stage of design and development.
Affordability breakdown: 85% of Kestrel on Cooper’s units are affordable at 30%, 50%, and 60% of area median income. The remaining 15% are available at market rate.
Units feature high-efficiency appliances and lighting, granite counters, tiled kitchen backsplashes, and resilient flooring.
Community amenities include a fully furnished clubhouse with community room, select carports and garages, business center, leasing center, fitness center, and bicycle parking.
Financial partners include TDHCA, City of Arlington, Community Bank of Texas, and Hudson Housing Capital.
